Progressive Overload- What Does It Mean?

What is Progressive Overload?

Progressive Overload is the gradual increase in training stress to elicit a targeted physiological adaptation.

Why is it important?

This ensures you are continuously adapting and improving. Resulting in muscle strength and gain!

How is it done?

1. Increased intensity- increasing the load of the exercise. 2. Increased volume- increasing the sets or reps. 3. Increased frequency- increasing the amount of times per week the exercise is visited. 4. Increased tension- increasing time under tension.
